For over 10 years she was involved in all aspects of television and radio production management with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. In her capacity with the CBC, she was involved in promotion, public and audience relations, as well as production management, which included travelling across Canada arranging film and location shoots for feature films and television programs.
For over 10 years she owned and operated her own award-winning boutique marketing agency, focusing her efforts on all aspects of integrated marketing, media, strategic planning and communications, with a particular focus and specialization in regional development, hospitality and tourism marketing.
In 2009 Michele took on the role of Executive Director of the Hills of Headwaters Tourism Association, working extensively within the regional, municipal & provincial political framework, to leverage activities and integrate strategies into creative and innovative partnerships. She also serves on the Boards of a number of provincial and municipal tourism and economic development organizations.
In 2011 Michele became a professor at Humber College in Toronto, teaching destination development and sales & marketing in the School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism.
