Jim Boyd is President & CEO of the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation and a resident of Erin. Jim has extensive and varied experience in finance, politics and community involvement and a life-long passion for horses.
Prior to his current role, Jim worked in the for-profit sector including positions at the Royal Bank of Canada, Campbell’s Moving Systems and Boyd International (a family-run financing business). He is a graduate of St. Andrew’s College and the University of Toronto (Victoria College). Jim is a past member of the Brampton Board of Trade’s Public Affairs Committee and a former Vice-President of a Provincial Riding Association in Brampton. Before joining the Brampton and Caledon Community Foundation, Jim was also involved as a volunteer in fund raising campaigns on behalf of several charitable organizations.
Jim is Chair of the HELG Sustainability Sub-Committee and the HELG Policy & Government Relations Sub-Committee.
